I believe in embracing both my humanity and my spirituality, but what I don’t believe in is embracing the limitations of my humanity. All of which, are continually being modified from glory to glory. Jesus submitted to an earthly body in order to set us free from earthly limitations, thus bringing us into the consciousness of son-ship. At the end of the day, we are supernatural beings with supernatural bodies. This means that my mortal state is in the process of being swallowed up by immortality. In reality, I am already an immortal being. However, I lack the maturity to express my immortality at the level Jesus gave to me. Thus my journey is to supernaturally embrace my humanity; exercising my full potential as a son of God, not just in the hereafter, but here and now.
This understanding continues to take me further into the revelation of my true state in the kingdom of God. The foundation of all the above is based on our ability to walk in the love of God to its fullest extent. God is love. Therefore, my ultimate goal as a multidimensional being is to express that same love on earth as it is being expressed in heaven. We are first and foremost a representation of the love of God toward all humanity.
Normally I strive to speak or teach within the parameters of my current functional state in the kingdom of God on earth. However, I’ve come to realize there are times when I will actually live in the revelation of a kingdom truth, exercising it in another realm before manifesting the reality of that same revelation on the earth. Being a multidimensional being means that we can live and experience multiple realms simultaneously. There are certain practices that I can perform in the realm of the spirit first, before manifesting them in the natural. As I already mentioned, in Christ, we are already eternal beings, seated in heavenly places, but from an earthly perspective we are transformed by the renewing of our mind.
For example, in heaven I can fly. I can also just think myself from one place to the next. While I realize that “translocation” is a spiritual reality and an increasing practice amongst the saints of God on earth, there are other types of supernatural movements that defy the laws of physics. “Thought speed” isn’t a term that you will hear very often. Yet, through thought, we have the ability to move from one location to the next. Through the speed of thought we have the ability to transition from one realm of existence or understanding to another.
The law of gravity implies what goes up must come down. This is not a spiritual law, but a natural law. Therefore, it’s a law that we can govern, rather than having it govern us. Though I have not been able to personally defy gravity supernaturally, at least not in terms of my physical body (I know a few people who have) I can certainly do so very effectively when I am in a dream state or through thought speed.
I realize there are some reading this that are able to do the same. I know this article is a bit of a stretch for many who are reading it, but its important for us to see beyond the parameters of the natural laws of physics that govern the flesh, but not the spirit. To the degree that we are acclimated to the atmosphere of earth is the degree we are subject to the laws of physics. Having said that, we are quickly approaching a time when the barrier of the laws of physics will be broken in unimaginable ways.
Many view their sonship in God solely from a moral perspective. While moral characteristics of sonship are extremely important, there are many other characteristics of our sonship that are equally important, such as operating outside the limitations of the physical laws of nature.
In terms of flying, my primary school of flight is in my dreams. In my dreams I fly all the time. In fact, I not only fly, but I am an instructor of Ariel navigation. In my dream state, I attend public spiritual gatherings and display the power of flight, thus defying the law of gravity and teach others how to do the same. Children are the easiest to teach because their imaginations are not harnessed to earthly limitations like most adults. Therefore, they are able to adapt to the functions of the spirit quite easily. However, there are times while demonstrating the power of flight that my capacity to fly for long periods of time becomes somewhat limited. I believe it’s because my earthly limitations, even in my dream state, try to take over.
Nonetheless, I press through the force of gravitational thinking and fly with great enthusiasm and determination. Like most advancements in life I often find I become too methodical in my thinking, something that should be very natural in terms of spirit can become momentarily challenging. It’s much like when a child is learning to walk. At first they appear a bit wobbly, until their equilibrium adjusts to walking in an upright position. The look on their little faces are priceless. Smiling from ear to ear you can hear them say, “Look! I can walk! I can walk!”
This was my initial response when I first discovered that I could fly in another realm. Again, I realize this subject is extremely challenging for those who are spirituality anchored to an earthly realm. While I am not going to take the time to write about all the dreamers of the bible, there are many testimonies of those who experienced the future through dreams and in the end changed history.
After the resurrection of Jesus Christ, he manifested some amazing supernatural characteristics. Not just after, but prior to his resurrection. After all, for Jesus, resurrection power wasn’t just an event, but it’s who he is. Prior to raising Lazarus from the dead, while speaking to Mary and Martha, Jesus said, “I am resurrection power.” They were so indoctrinated by a future event that they could not see the source of resurrection power standing right in front of them. Jesus demonstrated his ability to walk through walls, thus defy matter and yes, even fly.
In Acts 1:9 we read, “And after he had said these things, he was lifted up while they were looking on and a cloud received him out of their sight.” Given the fact that when Jesus was lifted up through the power of his resurrection we were also lifted up.
“Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.” (Colossians 3:1)
“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.” (Galatians 2:20)
